The best things rarely start with a perfect plan. Xentris started with a friend knocking on the door, a trading GPT and the curiosity to see how far we could take it.
It all started with a trading GPT
A friend showed up with something he was obsessed with: a GPT that analyzed trading markets. It wasn't perfect, but it had a spark. Instead of treating it as a toy, we asked what would happen if we took it seriously: with method, data and engineering discipline.
People, before technology
A model is worthless without human judgment behind it. Along the way we met Natalia Turizo, a trader, who brought the real read of the market that an algorithm lacks: when to trust the signal and when to doubt it.
Then came Orlando Polanco, who believed in the project and joined as investor and partner. His backing turned a weekend idea into something we could build for real.
And we added the help of Farid (farid.com.co) on the technical and AI side, so what we imagined could actually be automated.
Automate, identify, fix
With the team in place, we stopped chasing the magic signal and started building processes. The goal wasn't to guess the market, but to remove the manual work and make the opportunity visible.
- Automate the repetitive processes that ate our hours.
- Identify opportunities with data, not gut feelings.
- Correct and solve in short cycles, learning from every mistake.
We weren't trying to be right the first time. We were building a system that corrected fast when it was wrong.
Adding human talent
As the project grew, the biggest investment stopped being technology and became people. We began acquiring human talent: profiles that did each piece better and let us think bigger without losing focus.
Xentris today
Today Xentris is a technology company: we automate processes, identify opportunities and solve real problems with software and data. What started as a friend's obsession became a place where curiosity turns into product. And this is only the beginning.
